SET YOUR INTENTION
Sankalpa comes from two words: "san," which means to refine toward spirit and "kalpa," which is thought or intention. Sankalpa is more than just a New Year's resolution. It is a vow to live in accordance with our highest truth, our spirit.
Through the sankalpa practice, we embed this vow into the deeper realms of our unconscious. There is a reason we cannot stick with our resolutions for the New Year and it has to do with our limited attention spans, flucuations of the mind and constant distractions.
Through a balanced asana class, pranayama (breathwork), visualization, tantra and kriya techniques we are able to access our own individual spirit's truth so that we can plan a seed of intention into the soil of our consciousness so it may manifest into our reality.
