Annual Sankalpa Meditation and Sound Bath
DESCRIPTION
A Sankalpa is something that comes from your hearts desires, a deeper calling, your values and individual dharma. It is a reconnection with your own purpose so you can live through your own unique karma with ease.
If it is an intention you seek and tap into once you’ve opened yourself up to it by pushing aside the ego, opening the chakras and reuniting shakti and shiva and moving into that state of “oneness.”
The way you tune into it is through a special meditation practice using kriya, mudra and mantras to bypass all the external stuff; the societal “shoulds”, pressures and the ego.
Once you seek what is seeking you, the intention gets set and starts to unfold organically into your everyday life.
It helps you live your life with INTENTION and purpose.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Discussion: Class will begin with discussion.
Yoga: Move into a fiercely gentle yoga asana practice (a downward dog maybe the most challenging pose) to open up the chakras and alleviate tensions.
Breathwork/Pranayama/Kriya/Mudra/Mantra: Then we’ll go into a pranayama {breathwork} practice, use kriya {cleansing} and purification technique/visualization, mantra and mudras {hand gestures}.
Meditation: Next you’ll be guided through a tantric meditation to seek your individual sankalpa then bathed in sound bath to help you go deeper into a state of relaxation and bliss.
